Silicon
Hard jobs go through an outside AI model, using a key you supply or your Opal Black credits. The outside model drafts; Opal checks the draft against your facts and waits for a person to decide.
The Opal path
Everyday answers come from your price list, hours and rules, or facts a person saved. If there is no key, or the outside model fails, the job falls back to your saved facts rather than switching to another paid model.
Protonic research
A protonic layer is planned for long memory beside silicon, not instead of it. It remains research unless repeatable tests show that the oxide holds a usable state.
Not a shipping specification. Protonic hardware is not for sale. No energy, infrastructure replacement or commercial performance result is claimed. Patent applications are filed, not granted.
